Improved care thanks to FDN technology
LifeSys are the only company offering an alternative to hard-wired or radio based nurse call systems. Once the care homes electrical infrastructure has been digitised by FDN the unique system uses the electric wiring already in place in a Care Home to transmit alarm signals from residents or other staff members directly to carers. Alarms are relayed to carers via pagers, eliminating the need for loud and intrusive alarms in hallways. Rather than just summoning staff members to a room, the highly detailed screen tells the carers the room number, the resident's name and most importantly then nature of the call, this allows staff to priorities alarms and deal with the most pressing alarms first.
