Freedom Digital Networks chair the UPA Smart Grid Working Group
Freedom Digital Networks is a member of the Universal Powerline Association (UPA), an International not-for-profit trade association working to promote Powerline Communications technology globally across all applications. With the goal to harmonise global standards and regulations in the fast developing Powerline communications market its members leading companies united in the aim of delivering UPA certified products, seek to provide products which comply with agreed specifications to achieve time-to-market, guarantee high performance and maximise usage of the spectrum for all PLC applications to the benefit of all players in the PLC value chain. Freedom Digital Networks chair the UPA Smart Grid Working Group and produced the UPA Smart Grid Market Requirements Document (MRD).
