Three Rivers Holiday Park

November 2007, Fdn installs full 200Mbps Powerline Communications network at the Three Rivers Holiday Park, adjacent to the Yorkshire Dales, containing 200 static caravan holiday homes and various out buildings.

The nature of the the surrounding area makes it difficult to install any Wi-Fi solutions for distributing Braodband around the site. Using the electrical infrastructure of the park, Fdn have been able to allow visitors to connect direct to the internet through their electrical connections in their own personal caravans or holiday homes using our proprietary PLC modems. Where WiFi is required by visitors, Fdn can install discreet WiFi devices internally in the caravans which can work on the back of the PLC solution.

For Caravan Parks, the greatest benefit Fdn's solution brings is the lack of disruption to the site and unsightly aerials as well as being a more environmentally-friendly solution compared to traditional networks which can deliver the same type or scale of solution.
